Unreleased Remix I worked on in 1995 with my friend the late legend Frankie Knuckles.After the success of MJ's "Earth Song," Frankie wanted to collaborate on a remix project he had in mind. We worked in my NUM Sound Studio on this Pebbles remix for 3 weeks. At first, Frankie was not sure why I took 3 weeks per remix. Then he got it! We listened to all sorts of music, talked about life, ate Pies & laughed a lot. I got to know him and know his sense of humor. I learned so much from this experience. One of my fondest memories of him was when he would show up at my door with a box of Apple Crumble Pecan pie from the Little Pie Company around the corner which I had no clue of. He turned me on to something dangerous. I became a loyal customer there LOL then paid the price later on. I also love the time when Keyboard virtuoso Terry Burrus arrived to do his magic on this track. Right there I saw the difference between an amateur and a professional. Thank You.This remix never got released by MCA records. Frankie played this mix on his Hot 97-midnight show. I miss you, Frankie. I know you are in a better place today.
